Our Mission
The Internet Society New York City Chapter (ISOC NYC) is dedicated to fostering an open, secure, and globally accessible Internet for everyone in the New York City metropolitan area and beyond. We strive to empower individuals, communities, and organizations by promoting the Internet as a force for good—enabling innovation, economic growth, education, and social progress. Through advocacy, education, and collaboration, we work to ensure that the Internet remains a trusted and inclusive platform that reflects the diverse voices and needs of our city. Together, we champion policies, technologies, and practices that uphold the Internet’s core principles of accessibility, transparency, and user empowerment, while addressing the unique challenges and opportunities of our digital age.
